Sebastien enjoys the practical side of engineering and creating something tangible. Sebastien has 20 years of engineering experience, and 5 years at FSi Engineers. His early career involved working with contractors, giving him real-world insights into designing maintainable systems. His early career in France gives him a depth of DOAS expertise that many American engineers do not have, as high European energy costs had his clients focusing on DOAS and hydronic systems much earlier than most US building owners and designers. His clients, including Western Washington University and the City of Bellingham, appreciate his focus on sustainability and making the most of their budgets.

In his free time, Sebastien enjoys distance running with his running club, and hiking and camping with his family. The family also travels to France on a regular basis, visiting friends and relatives. Some of their favorite local destinations include Orcas Island and Vancouver, BC. He hopes his work on sustainable designs help to leave a better planet for his children and future generations.
