Mitchell graduated from Messiah College in 2020 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and joined FSi in 2023. He comes by his STEM career naturally, with a mom who taught mathematics, and a lifetime love of math and physics. In fact, he thought he would follow in her footsteps and go into teaching for a while. In the end, though, engineering won out and he’s loving his career. FSi appeals to him because of the huge variety of projects that we work on, and our commitment to having team members pursue the areas of engineering that interest them most.

On weekends and evenings, Mitchell loves to spend time outside with friends and family. He loves hiking, playing golf with his dad, and going on walks with his mom. He also plays Ultimate Frisbee, and that’s also where he met his wife Tjia-Ern. Being in community with others is an important part of his life, and Ultimate provides a tight-knit group of people.
