Mike brings 10 years of mechanical design experience, service in the US Air Force, and a lifelong interest in solving problems with creative thinking. He left FSi to spend time teaching design and engineering to high school students, giving him a broad perspective that serves his current work. Now back at FSi, Mike is bringing his background and his passion for sustainability to his projects. His portfolio includes work for The Boeing Company, Port of Seattle, US Army, King County, and Seattle Public Schools.

In his off hours, Mike is a busy guy. He loves spending time with his 3 kids, who are always his first priority. He also plays guitar and piano, enjoys making art from reclaimed materials, and competing in duathlons, recently qualifying for the US team. While doing all of that, he continues to pursue his lifetime goal of “being chill.”
