Kris brings more than 20 years of accounting experience to FSi, with a background in wealth management and investment accounting. But it’s the last four years in the AEC industry that have truly captured her interest. She loves being part of impactful, technically challenging work—and supporting the brilliant people behind it.
Before joining FSi, Kris worked for a company developing hydrogen hybrid batteries to help decarbonize heavy industry. When the proof of concept launched on a mining truck in South Africa, the team gathered overnight in the Seattle office to watch the live feed—an unforgettable experience that reaffirmed her passion for being part of something bigger.
Though she jokes that Ben Affleck makes accounting look dangerously exciting, her original college dream was to be a roadie, chasing her favorite bands from city to city. These days, her off-hours are a little cozier: she’s a proud dog mom to Veronica (who is thoroughly pampered), a dedicated cozy gamer, and a fan of true crime documentaries and the occasional K-drama binge.
Kris is also passionate about human rights and actively supports the ACLU and the HRC. We’re lucky to have her calm, thoughtful presence and deep expertise on our team.
