As FSi’s Marketing Director, Kim Sherman oversees the production of every written document that leaves our office including reports, responses to RFQs, and awards submittals. “I consider our service to our clients and the relationships we develop with them to be our most important form of marketing,” Kim says. “I love that I can contribute to making our written deliverables more concise, clear, and useful to our clients.” Her background in graphic design, legal and professional writing, and self-described obsession with proper use of semicolons make her uniquely qualified to do just that. She works to provide clarity and customer-focus to each engineering report by holding a focus meeting at the beginning of the process, and being the last QC before the final product is presented to our client.

In addition to punctuation, Kim is passionate about justice, equity, and community service. She brings those traits to her leadership role on our Community team, which encourages FSi’s staff to volunteer their time and other resources to worthy causes. She is integral to FSi’s involvement in The BLOCK Project, and hosts their first house in her backyard. Her neighbor, Bobby, is now family. You can read more about her experience here.

Kim shares her home with her partner Dan, and Sammy the Best Dog Ever, who stole her heart the moment they met.
