Justina has worked in accounting since 1999, bringing a wealth of experience from inside and outside the AEC industry. She started at a hotel in Oahu, where she moved from being a front desk clerk into accounts receivable. She was hooked on accounting from the start and has never looked back. She got her associate’s degree in accounting from Leeward Community College in Honolulu.
She moved to Washington to be close to family, and that’s where she began her AEC career and found her passion for project accounting. Justina loves to understand how project phasing and accounting interact and working with project managers to make everything work smoothly for the benefit of the client. She is proud to walk around the city with friends and family, pointing out projects that she has worked on.
Her family is her biggest strength. She and her family love attending sporting events, being outdoors, and paddle boarding out on the lake, as well as making dishes from different countries.
