Isabella earned her BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2020. She brings experience in load analysis, HVAC, and plumbing design to FSi where she plans to combine her skills with her passion for sustainability to serve her clients.

Isabella came to engineering by eliminating all of the things she didn’t enjoy and playing to her strengths in math and science. She chose mechanical engineering for its breadth of opportunities, and then after taking a policy class on energy initiatives, she was hooked on the possibilities of building design. She chose FSi because of the company’s focus on sustainability and the corporate culture, which she loves.

In conversation, Isabella is a thoughtful communicator who expresses herself with care. Outside of the office, Isabella is a voracious reader of fantasy, both books and on her Kindle. She can often be found in the company of Lilo, her brown ragdoll cat which she got when her sister’s cat had kittens.
