Graduating in 2011 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Blake brings 10 years of engineering experience to FSi. He specializes in large industrial projects for clients including The Boeing Company, King County Transit, and Washington State Ferries, and still finds enjoyment in working on smaller projects like the Seymour Botanical Conservatory in Tacoma. His clients rely on his dedication, reliability, succinct communication style, and creative problem-solving.

Blake appreciates the value of humor in the workplace and often makes himself the object of his own quick-wit. His colleagues appreciate his calm demeanor as tight deadlines approach, and his project management skills.

FSi legend has it that in his days as a power-lifter, Blake won a hotdog eating contest in the office by consuming 11 large hotdogs over a period of just a few hours. It is probably a coincidence that he left work early that day, and that he didn’t eat at all the next day. It was later established that Blake was the only participant in the contest, as he had not told anyone else about it.
