Ben has 12 years of mechanical engineering experience, primarily with commercial, higher education, and high-end residential projects. Ben has specialized expertise investigating existing conditions, designing new and upgraded HVAC systems, and performing construction administration. He uses his effective communication and organizational skills to help design teams deliver projects that meet the clients’ needs, budgets, and timelines. Ben brings his experience to design and deliver projects with a focus on HVAC duct design and equipment specifications, such as the Wild Horse Casino & Resort’s new clubhouse in Pendleton, Oregon.

Ben married a Spokane native and joined FSi with the express intent of helping to expand our presence in Eastern Washington. He spent six months training in the Seattle office, preparing for his big move. In September 2019, he and his wife, Katie, bought their first home, on the South Hill in Spokane. They are happy to be east of the mountains, where Ben can pursue his love of cycling and tennis in drier weather.
