Experienced CAD Drafter (Seattle, WA) (Hybrid Work Model)
FSi Engineers is seeking a CAD Drafter with 5-10 years of hands-on design experience, including electrical experience, to be an integral part of our team of designers, engineers, and project managers to innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place.

$30.00 – $38.00 per hour

Position Summary
This position is responsible for preparing MEP engineering drawings for current projects. This includes the preparation of all documents associated with each project to ensure seamless workflow from start to finish. This position uses AutoCAD and BIM/Revit modelling and is responsible for the delivery of permitting and construction drawings from those models.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Bluebeam, CAD, Revit, and BIM 360 a must
- Intermediate knowledge in mechanical and electrical engineering or related field preferred
- Associate degree or higher from accredited course of Drafting and Design or Mechanical/Electrical engineering a plus
- 5-10 years BIM/CAD experience in the area of Mechanical/Electrical Building Design & services
- 5-10 years of experience using Revit to design and coordinate large mechanical projects
- Experience taking drawings from conceptual design through construction documents

Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Preparing and developing detailed Revit models of Mechanical systems
- Updating and modifying existing models and drawing sets as required
- Managing the creation, issuing, and revisions of drawings & models
- Coordination of MEP services with all other disciplines to develop clash-resolved models and export coordinated drawing sets from same
- Work with consultants and vendors
- Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations
- Work as part of an internal MEP design team
- Provide coordination support for information requests during construction phases
- Be self-motivated and work within the group as well as within other teams
- Be positive and always offer creative, outside-the-box solutions
- Excellent team player and ability to take direction from various project managers
- Able to prioritize work demands to meet project schedules/deadlines in a busy working environment
