Barbara joined FSi in 2018 as an intern, while earning her degrees in teaching and engineering. We never wanted her to leave, and are very happy she agreed to stay. While at Seattle University, Barbara participated in a wind tunnel testing project, measuring upstream and downstream velocity profiles by using a hotwire sweep to simulate and calculate drag force on a submarine. Since joining FSi, she has specialized in energy modeling and supporting construction administration. Her clients include both public and private concerns with a wide variety of practical applications. Barbara brings her passion for inclusion and social justice to every project she works on, always keeping sustainability and equity in mind.
Outside of work, Barbara enjoys a close relationship with her family, spending time with friends, and participating in a marksmanship group, perfecting her speed and accuracy.
