Bothell Immunex Quality Control Lab

FSi provided the engineering services for the renovation of the Quality Control Lab for the Microbial Facility at the Immunex Bothell Campus.

The scope of the project included revising the office suite on two floors into additional laboratory space. In an effort to keep in use as much of the existing air systems as possible, a 20,000 cfm air handler was added to provide 100% tempered outside air to the two existing air handling systems. This design eliminated the need to remove and dispose of the coils and filter sections in the existing units. An additional benefit to the client was the limited downtime in the existing labs during construction.
