FSi provided the mechanical design for the Surgery and Patient Wing, as well as mechanical engineering design services for a transitional care patient unit.FSi designed the plumbing, medical gas delivery, and HVAC for a services area for Olympic Memorial Hospital.

Olympic Memorial Hospital – Port Angeles, WA
FSi designed the plumbing, medical gas delivery, and HVAC for a 5 bed infusion services area which was built out from the existing human resource offices.

Surgery and Patient Wing Renovation
Olympic Memorial Hospital – Port Angeles, WA
FSi provided the mechanical design for the renovation of 28,900 s.f. of existing surgical space and patient wing, and the addition of over 3,600 s.f. of new surgical and surgical support space. The project included new air handling units, new duct systems and terminal units, including humidification. The new DDC control system was expanded to serve the new systems and included an isolation room pressurization control. The plumbing design included a new fire protection layout, new medical gas systems including air compressors and gas manifolds, new plumbing and fixtures throughout. The construction phasing allowed the use of four surgery suites at any time.

Transitional Care Unit Remodel
Olympic Memorial Hospital – Port Angeles, WA
FSi provided mechanical engineering design services for the 7,200 s.f. remodel of an existing psychiatric ward into a transitional care patient unit. The mechanical design included HVAC, fire protection, medical gas piping, plumbing design, and elevator shaft pressurization.
